missing at the Kauai proper called e ISO (short for Island, Sky,
Ocean): a recent $5 million renovation of the former Mokihana
Resort that includes the lobby, guest rooms, exterior and grounds.
Expect 79 ocean-front rooms revamped with rustic-chic island
decor (along with logoed canteen coffee mugs, refillable water
bottles and yoga mats), as well as a new poolside fire-pit seating
area and a terrace for the Bull Shed steakhouse. Guests can
also look forward to perks like yoga on the oceanfront lawn,
complimentary Continental breakfast, and bikes to explore the
area and 4-mile coastal trail. "e ISO offers everyone a place to
