Today little-known, Mario Corbett, Architect, was "hailed by LIFE Magazine as a representative of the Bay Area Style" and fa-
mous in the 1950s (see Julius Shulman: Modernism Rediscovered, ed. Pierluigi Serraino, 2009). An addition over the carport
by William Wallace Reid (1964-65) was renovated in a thorough restoration by Wiehle-Carr Architecture, completed in 2001.
